The play takes place in the bar of a decaying harbour, in front of an apocalyptic sea. Horatio, one of the characters, tells the story of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark, whose father was murdered. So the play turns to be the mirror of the world in which we are living, a world split up between generations, periods and individuals, just like Shakespeare’s one, where each character has to face both dream and reality, to reach his own freedom.
Text : From « Hamlet » of Shakespeare
