Written by Marc Doré in a burlesque style on the
occasion of the America’s discovery, the play is about Christophe
Colomb’s exciting voyage, during his first 1492 crossing.
As we sail across the Atlantic Ocean, from first boarding of the ship to
reaching the land of the Amerindians, we are to share fears and
miseries of a fantastic venture.
So, this voyage to America becomes a farcical metaphor of our urge for
discoveries, our desire of freedom and our fear of the unknown.
