A radio is blaring at full volume in a modest kitchen overlooking a public garden. An old lady appears : deafened, she turns off the radio set and calls her son but he is not there. Through her gestures and silences, she introduces us into her daily life as a solitary woman. As she goes to sleep, a storm rumbles in the distance. Painful memories of the war immediately come back to her mind.... We are told a life story to the rhythm of about fifty French songs staged by the Souffleurs de vers. Nearly forty male or female singers from all origins are thus put in the place of honour in a trip of twenty scenes, one more surprising than the other. A peace and love message through eighty years of lyrics.
