One night, an old man, father Jacob, owner of a fabric shop, grapples with God. He also wants to be a creator. A new day comes, and the quarrel is still going on between his employees and his wife. Then Adela, the maid, sets free the colorful birds that he breeds. Everything drifts until the day when the birds come back but the crowd mercilessly wipes them out. A fantastic world between dream and reality. Cruel and wonderfully poetic. Cruel and formidably poetic.

“Teatr
Studyjny” was created by Anna
Dziedzic in September 2014. This “informal”
group consists of young actors, graduated after 3 years at
the Machulski Acting School. Some of them
took part in festivals, in Grenoble, in Trieste and in cooperations with
the Lithuanian
Music and Theatre Academy in Vilnius. The “Teatr Studyjny”’ work is
based on experimenting acting techniques, developing theatrical skills
and perfecting pedagogical tools.
“Teatr Studyjny” also practices the actor’s psycho-physical work. It intervenes in schools and universities’ environment and cooperates with the CUT (Centro Universitario Teatrale Trieste). It took part in TaCT festivals in 2014, 2015, and 2016, organized by CUT. In September 2016, “Teatr Studyjny” together with a CUT theatrical group, realised in Warsaw a workshop-performance based on Witold’s: "Gombrowicz, Ivona , Princess of Burgundy". “Teatr Studyjny” steadily cooperates with the cultural centers " Dorożkarnia " and " Kadr " in Warsaw, as well as with the Social Sciences University (SAN). The group does not have any working place. At the moment it works at SAN University in Warsaw. “Teatr Studyjny” is an association with a nonprofit making.
Anna Dziedzic is a drama educator, a theatrical manager and an actors’director. She is also the author of many theatre educational books (on theatre in education). She runs workshops all over Poland, as well as abroad (e.g. France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania). She cooperates with many foreign theatres and theatrical schools and directs international performances. She has participated to a lot of festivals in France, Romania, Italy, Germany and Siberia. In Grenoble she has presented 12 performances throughout 12 successive “Rencontres du Jeune Théâtre Européen”’ editions.
Recently she has been a teacher at Machulski’s Acting School and a theatrical professor at the Pedagogical UNIVERSITY COLLEGE ZNP in Warsaw. At the moment, she cooperates with the Social Sciences, Film and Audiovisual University. In October of 2014 she got the Medal of the Polish National Education.
