Drums and dances, by their warm rhythms, will open the parade-show, at which 180 young comedians and artists of the Rencontres will participate. A great moment of party, not to be missed, where Europe and Africa will be united to celebrate the youth, the music, the dance and the theatre. Wassa (meaning ‘Pride’ in Dioula) is a group from Burkina Faso consisting in young artists from Ouahigouya and Ouagadougou. The group works under the direction of Karim Konaté, a Burkinese choreographer and musician, and in regular interaction with Djellia Company.
