In Héliopolis, the City of the Sun, the people suffer from a strange evil. The Council which governs the City seems to take advantage of it. However, the situation worsen and soon become desperate. A wise man, called the Master, tries to help people find a cure for their afflictions. But it is difficult to raise awareness, and in their pursuit of “Good City” the citizens of Héliopolis run into trouble.... “The City of the Sun” talks about State social and political structure in the guise of a medieval farce. The play also questions the ambivalent relationship between citizen and power.
