The show
Following Sébastien Thivierge’s death, several people appear in the Funeral Home “Second Life” to pay him their last respects. However, the promiscuity of this place, that puts people in a situation of fragility and discomfort, slowly overcomes the respect of social conventions. As the mystery surrounding the deceased blurs away, the masks of some bereaved persons come off. Uneasiness, insults and little dramas come one after another succeeding until the final farewell which will leave a sweet-bitter taste. Mes sympathies is their very first creation, which focuses on the various malaises disorders that can arise in a funeral home.
Theater company
Created in 2007 by Philippe Gobeil, "La Meute” Theatre Company is composed of nine
actors and is specialized in black comedies . With the aim of having the Quebec authors discovered “La Meute”
presented in 2019, Not to be (a collective
of authors) at the Arad’s Festival and Coin
Charest in 2012 at the Rencontres du Jeune Théâtre Européen (a collective of authors too).
