Doum Doum, Balafons and Djembes...
Opening parade with Badema, a group of dancers and musicians from Burkina Faso. In partnership with the Lafibala Festival of Chambery.
Badema is a troupe of ten dancers and musicians from Yatenga, a region of Burkina Faso. It is considered as one of the best Burkinabe’s groups. It proposes a “blended music” of traditional and folk music and Mandingo jazz.
Doum Doums, Balafons, djembes, by their warm rhythms, will open the parade-show, at which 180 young comedians and artists of the Rencontres will participate.
A great moment not to be missed, of party, where Europe and Africa will be united to celebrate the youth, the music and the theatre.
