The show
Jean, the main character, is a young man who lives a crisis due to a considerable number of failures: his grades at school, his relationships with his parents, his sister, even his girlfriend. He struggles to find himself. Through a travel full of humour and emotions, you will discover a young man who symbolises, in his own way, the nowadays generation and society. You will be put in front his doubts and dark sides, both with his dreams and hopes. Will Jean succeed in reconcile with himself and the others? Funny vicissitudes and surprises will not miss.
The Company
They are nine, 7 males and two females. These young actors and actresses have been training at the Créarc’s Theatre twice per week. They are all part of the ARIST group (an Association engaged in the Research and Social Integration of Down’s syndrome affected people).
An intense work of technique training has been developed throughout 3 years up to now, supported by a deep practise of improvisation exercises. Thus the troupe has collected a considerable support of images and situations that will be used as a starting point for the following script creation.
