Two men named Olaf and Julius live secluded in a room in order to protect themselves from their own emotions. They spend their time contemplating the street and the pedestrians with only one activity: commenting what they see. But when a young girl notices their pastime, she comes to their door to complain. From this moment onwards, ghosts of the past arise in this room which becomes the place for characters to meet, separate, fall in love, or not understand each other. The stories follow one another with no apparent logic.
