La compagnie de jeunes comédiens du théâtre de Sisak a, dans les trois derniers mois de son existence, réalisé trois pièces : Sisak, Stojimo !, La Cantatrice chauve et Inter€xpress. Cette dernière a été créée par les acteurs mêmes, ainsi que par Damir Borojevic, le metteur en scène du groupe. Elle représente une interprétation symbolique de la précipitation avec laquelle les Croates désirent entrer dans l’Union Européenne. La pièce montre comment ceux-ci voient la situation des pays en transition et de la Croatie même, par rapport aux pays qui sont déjà dans l’Union Européenne.
La chanson de la pièce illustre parfaitement la mentalité des Croates. Leur histoire a été en partie liée à celle des trains. L’une des premières lignes de chemin de fer qui ait été contruite reliait Sisak (ville d’origine de la compagnie) à Zagreb (capitale de la Croatie).
On pourrait résumer l’attitude des Croates aux paroles de cette chanson : « Cours Miskec, cours Miskec, le train s’en va.
Il ne partira pas, il ne partira pas, le ticket est dans ma poche. »

English summary :

Youth Drama studio of the Sisak theatre has in the past three years of its existence created three populars plays : Sisak, we are standing, The Bald Prima Donna and Inter€xpress. The latest was created by the actors themselves together with the Damir Borojević the leader of the group. The play portrays symbolic and interesting interpretation of rushing and getting the ticket to the EU. The play shows how they see the position of the countries in transition and Croatia towards the countries that are already part of the EU.
The song performed in the play perfectly portrays the mentality of the Croatian people. Throughout history they were very much connected to the trains. One the first railways built was from Sisak to (the theatre hometown) to Zagreb (Croatian capital). The following lyrics outline the way of thinking of the Croatians : “Run Miskec, run Miskec the train is leaving. It won’t leave, it won’t leave the the ticket is in my pocket”.
